Image processing

In this build, photos selected in the editor are decoded and processed locally in your browser. The grading workflow does not intentionally upload the image to an application server.

Saved projects

When you start grading a photo, MintGrade creates a local project and autosaves editing parameters in IndexedDB. The source image is stored once in a separate local source record. Background masks and layer settings are stored with the project, while image layers are stored as additional local source records so they do not need to be rewritten on every slider change. Clearing site data can remove saved projects and layer sources. Other browser profiles or devices do not automatically receive them.

Reference images

A reference image selected for matching is analyzed locally for broad tonal and color statistics. It is not intentionally uploaded by this build.

Service worker and offline cache

MintGrade may cache application files such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript so the interface can load reliably. Your selected photos are not added to that application cache by the service worker.

Analytics and advertising

Advertising support is included but disabled by default. If the site owner enables Google AdSense, ad code is intended only for public content pages such as Home, Looks and Learn—not the Editor or Projects workspace. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies according to the owner's AdSense configuration and applicable consent requirements. Before enabling ads, the site owner must add accurate publisher details, configure any required consent platform, and update this policy with production contact information.
